Orbis and Lens share a very similar long term vision, but we are building on two very different tech stacks. We chose the strong performance, flexibility and cross-chain capabilities offered by Ceramic and they decided to build their protocol on Polygon which comes (in our opinion) with some innate friction that will be challenging to overcome. Only the future can tell which one of us made the best choice, and both may find their own product market fit in different areas.
