The big focus is on the value that Orbis can generate for developers at multiple levels: Today it's hard to create a fully decentralized social network If everyone is doing this in their own way then we can't benefit from the composability offered by using common schema We think developers will be interested in using Orbis to add simple but powerful features to their existing app such as: Decentralized commenting systems (e.g. for content-focused apps like Mirror or NFT marketplaces) Decentralized group chat features (useful for blockchain games, in-game and as a lobby feature) Decentralized and encrypted DMs (a nice addition to NFT marketplaces to facilitate discussions between buyers/sellers) If developers wanted to build these by themselves it would take them a lot of time and resources but by using our Orbis SDK it can be done extremely easily! In addition, because all of the content shared using the Orbis SDK is fully decentralized it can be viewed in many different applications. You could send a message to someone in an NFT marketplace integrated with our SDK for example and view the reply when browsing the Orbis social network!
